In-between painting classes, I decided to paint a type of bird that's a frequent visit to my feeder. I felt like I used too much white in the wing while I was painting, but upon reflection I like it. 

I decided to coat the background with a colour before painting, but I should have used acrylic as my thinner messed with it.

Like many of the others, I used only the three "primary" colours.
